Dr. Malitz's formal education and training are exemplary. After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in Anthropology and Zoology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, he earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles Geffen School of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Malitz then completed a residency in internal medicine at the reputable White Memorial Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois UIC Eye Center in Chicago, IL.
A board certified physician, Dr. Malitz is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
